I can give you a partial answer here, and I hope this helps:

It would depend on several factors. First, of course, would be the exact size of the pool. Also, would the fence need to enclose the pool all the way around, or are there some existing barriers that could be used (pool next to a fence or other structure that would block access to the pool, etc.) ?

Just for example, lets say the pool is a 15ft x 30 ft rectangle that needed the fence around the entire pool. There are plenty of other places to purchase this type of fence, but I’ll use Leslie’s online price as an example, just because it’s easy to provide an example (may be different in the stores.)
http://www.lesliespool.com/browse/Home/Pool-Safety/Fences-Covers/4-X-10-Fence-Section-Designer-Black/D/30100/P/1:100:12000:1200010/I/24100

Currently, it’s on sale online for 95.99 per 4′ x 10′ section. (4 ft high, 10 ft long). For the pool size example above, you would need about 10-11 sections to enclose the pool. (Nine sections would enclose it right at the waterline if the pool is truly 15′ x 30′, which is a 90′ perimeter, but you need to allow a little room to install the fence anchors through the deck.) So far, that’s about $960 - $1056 (excluding tax) for this size pool.

The fence comes with all the necessary hardware for installation. Provided there’s someone around who’s handy with power tools, you may be able to install it yourself. All it requires is drilling four holes per each 4′ x 10′ section for the anchors. (Granted, this may be easier to do if there’s a wood deck rather than a concrete deck around the pool.)

If you require someone to install the fence, I would recommend checking with local pool services to see what they might charge for installation (and check whether it would be cheaper for you to purchase the fence yourself, or do everything through a pool service.) Sorry, but I don’t know what a service might cost to do this in your area. My service experience was a few years back on Long Island, and I don’t recall exactly what we charged (and the price would probably be higher by now anyway…)
